Four Steps for Proper Carpet Care
Carpet cleaning is all about developing a routine. If you get into a good routine and keep it up, you will see great results.
1.Vacuum regularly. Vacuum frequently in high traffic areas and everywhere according to a vacuuming schedule
2.Clean spots and spills quickly with products that do not damage your carpet or cause it to resoil quickly.
3.Professionally deep clean your carpets every 12 to 18 months to remove embedded dirt and grime.
4.Stop dirt at the door by using mats outside and in, taking your shoes off when you enter the space, and changing your air filters to reduce airborne dust particles.

At FreshStart Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning LLC, we believe a great carpet cleaning starts with proper preparation and attention to detail. With over 19 years of industry experience, we use professional equipment and proven cleaning techniques to help remove embedded dirt, everyday soil, and many common stains, leaving your carpets cleaner and fresher.
We begin by inspecting your carpet to evaluate its condition, fiber type, areas of heavy traffic, visible spots, and any special concerns. This allows us to determine the most appropriate cleaning method for your carpet.
When appropriate, we thoroughly vacuum the carpet to remove loose dirt, dust, hair, and dry soil before beginning the wet cleaning process.
We apply a professional carpet pre-treatment selected for the carpet type and level of soiling. This helps loosen embedded dirt, oils, and everyday buildup so they can be removed more effectively during cleaning.
We identify spots and stains that may benefit from additional treatment. Appropriate products and techniques are selected based on the type of stain and carpet fiber. While many spots can be improved, some permanent stains or discoloration may not be completely removable.
We use professional carpet cleaning equipment and a suitable cleaning method to remove loosened soil and cleaning solution from the carpet. Our process is designed to reach beyond the surface and extract dirt that ordinary household vacuuming cannot remove.
During hot water extraction cleaning, we make careful cleaning passes to recover soil and moisture from the carpet. Proper extraction helps reduce residue and supports a more efficient drying process.
When appropriate for the carpet, we groom the fibers to help restore a uniform appearance, improve the finished look, and encourage even drying.
Before we finish, we review the cleaned areas, check for spots that may need additional attention, and make sure the work meets our service standards.
We provide recommendations to help your carpet dry as efficiently as possible, including improving airflow and limiting foot traffic until the carpet is sufficiently dry
